Make it Alluring: Arrow Crochet Bandeau Straps

Arrow Crochet Bandeau Straps and Summery Skirt

Oh hey there, lucky readers,

I’m excited about this one – because of everything that I’ve done in these first couple of months of blogging, my web crochet bandeau straps have gotten the most positive feedback (Online and in person, too!). So I figured I would keep the good juju rolling for all of us with another summery idea.

This pattern is one of those that is just straight up fun to assemble. Do your finger stretches because you’re going to be doing some TALL stitches. Haven’t done these before? No sweat – check out the amazing Moogly blog for a quick briefing on stitches “Beyond the Treble” as it were. All you have to remember to do is yarn over as many times as I tell you to, then pull the hook through 2 loops at a time. easy peasy.

Go make the most of your summer, friends!

Materials

size G (4mm crochet hook)
1/4 skein Vanna’s Glamour Yarn
Yarn Needle
Lace Bandeau (see below)

It’s my honest opinion that Victoria’s Secret or Aerie are the best place to buy bandeaus (definitely not getting paid to say that) – you get what you pay for. But if you’re in it for the budget option, these affiliate links are, from what I can tell, the better of what you’ll be able to find on Amazon for the price

Assembly
  1. Find the half of each arrow, then use embroidery needle to sew them together at the apex
  2. straps and sewn arrows
Large and Small arrows are afixed at the points.
  3. Attach straps at the corners of the small arrow
  4. fixing straps to small arrow
Sew straps along the flat edge of the small arrow
  5. Afix large arrow to bralette – 6.5″ apart (don’t sew straight across or you will lose the effect)
  6. assembling arrow to bandeau
The inner side of the arrow are 6.25″ (16 cm) apart, shown here sewn to the back of the bandeau
  7. Sew free ends of straps to the center of the bust of the bralette, ensuring not to twist.
